What it is

A practical guide to Whitstable, Kent, for visitors and for the people who live here: where to eat and drink with live opening hours, a call button and directions for every venue; tide times and The Street; what is on; the numbers you actually need; parking and trains; schools, nurseries and the young families guide. The whole guide is on one page, and every venue has its own page too.

How it is checked

Opening hours, phone numbers and addresses come from each venue's own website and published listings, and each venue page says where its hours came from and when they were checked. Schools and nurseries are checked against Ofsted, the Independent Schools Inspectorate and Kent County Council. Hours change with the seasons and on bank holidays, so call ahead if it matters.

Listings and featured pages
